Established in 1989 as a division of CIPS, a guarding company within the NJJ Dekkers group, Trac-Tech was born out of the need to implement electronic technology to assist with the management of the security personnel.

In 1992 Trac-Tech was extracted out of CIPS and was registered as a standalone business with the view to supply the industry as a whole with management information technology. Over the last 15 Years Trac-Tech has invested in excess of Seven Million Rand into product development alone.
