Trac-Tech wins vip business partner of the year award

Local electronic design and manufacture company, Trac-Tech, is the recipient of the prestigious VIP Payroll Business Partner of the Year award for 2012 in the Western Cape. The VIP Achievement Awards took place at the Lagoon Beach Hotel in Cape Town on 17 October.

VIP is a well-known provider of total payroll and human resources solutions. The organisation caters for all industries and business sizes from one employee up to 40 000 employees. With more than 25 000 customers throughout southern Africa and systems paying over three million people, the company’s products have found a welcome niche.

“Trac-Tech has the highest possible level of partnership – Silver Business Partner. This means that the company is required to provide VIP with five to 10 referrals per quarter and one sale of a VIP product. Trac-Tech far exceeds these quotas on a consistent basis, making it the obvious choice for this year’s award,” said Christelle Els, Business Partner Consultant at VIP.

According to Els, the awards are determined strictly by statistics gathered throughout a 12-month period, based on the generation of sales, either as a result of referrals to third-party companies or direct purchases by the company for a third party. Trac-Tech’s ongoing support of VIP resulted in the company receiving the coveted award for the top leads in 2012 and the highest gross profit in the same period, for the entire Western Cape region.

“Trac-Tech has proved itself to be an exemplary VIP Business Partner. Marj Valasek, Sales Manager for Trac-Tech, together with her team, completely understand the intricacies of the VIP systems. They are able to extrapolate relevant information and present it to their clients with insight and knowledge. In addition, the company has gone beyond expectations by developing software that intimately interfaces with VIP Payroll software for an improved customer experience,” Els explained.

“Trac-Tech is thrilled to be acknowledged by VIP in this way. We have invested a great deal of time and effort into acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the VIP systems. This investment has clearly paid dividends and underlines the importance of our symbiotic relationship with VIP. Ultimately, the development of such mutually-beneficial relationships provides our clients with the added-value benefits we offer them as part of our total time & attendance (T&A) and access control package,” Marj Valasek concluded.
